Let ‘em Cook is a guide to cooking for beginners age 13-30. Mostly meant for those who are living on their own in college or want to understand and get into cooking. Let ‘em Cook offers the basics with 9 major recipes that are interchangeable and customizable to your liking. As you do more, you understand the fundamentals of cooking and begin to branch out and add your own flair to your dishes.
Medium #1 is a cookbook/guide. That is broken up into 3 categories from the food pyramid. Shaped as plates, the plates represent each food category with an atomic pattern and are color-coded. Vegetables, Protein, and carbs are the main categories. The 9 total recipes are meant to be mixed and matched, and each is interchangeable with the others. The recipes are easy to follow, quick, and customizable. They give a base understanding of core cooking basics with different ingredients and skills.
Medium #2 is an interactive app where the recipes and tips live. It emulates the container of reading materials in medium #1. It will be interactive to the user, and the starting screen pushes to open the fridge, where you will choose which shelf you want to access. Then the three recipes will be available to you. The interactivity and 3D elements of the plates and recipes.
